What is Morpheus8 Burst?
Morpheus8 Burst is RF microneedling that delivers bipolar RF through small needles in a fractional pattern to contract tissue and remodel collagen. It is used to support smoother-looking, firmer skin. Your physician selects the tip, depth and energy pattern for the treatment area.
The energy pattern affects how heat develops in tissue. Your physician selects a mode for the treatment goal, from skin texture and firmness to excess fat in selected areas.
For example, Fixed mode holds the needles at a selected depth and delivers repeated RF pulses. A physician may consider it within a plan for localised excess fat, selecting depth and energy for the fatty tissue. Before treatment, clarify whether your goal is skin firmness alone or also addressing excess fat.

How does Morpheus8 Burst differ from Morpheus8?
Both use RF microneedling: small needles deliver RF into the skin. The current Morpheus8 Burst system adds BURST and SCALE functionalities to organise depth and energy delivery during one insertion.
BURST delivers energy sequentially at several physician-selected depths. SCALE varies energy by depth, delivering more at deeper levels and less towards shallower tissue. This lets the physician plan both the tissue depth to address and the energy delivered at each level.
Morpheus8 names several models, and some earlier Morpheus8 Body models already offer Burst mode. When comparing programmes, ask which tip is used and which BURST or SCALE functionalities it supports.

How is needle depth selected?
Your physician selects depth in relation to the thickness of the skin and tissue in that area. Manufacturer information gives a combined range of 0.5–7 mm across the Burst and Burst Deep tip families, with different depths supported by each tip. Greater depth is therefore not appropriate for every area.

What does RF energy do?
Morpheus8 delivers bipolar RF through electrodes on the needle array to generate heat in the targeted tissue. Needle depth and energy should be planned together for tissue contraction and collagen remodelling.

Tell your physician which area interests you and what change you would like to see. Share your medications, medical conditions and previous procedures.
What to tell your physician before treatment
Tell your physician if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an implanted electronic device, wounds or infection in the treatment area, take medication that affects blood clotting, or recently had another skin procedure. Also mention pigmentation history, difficulty healing and relevant medical conditions.
Do not stop prescribed medication yourself to prepare for treatment. Speak with the prescribing physician first.
During treatment · What does it feel like?
Energy delivery may feel warm or briefly prickly in short pulses. Sensations vary by area and person. Tell your physician during treatment if you feel uncomfortable.
After treatment · How should you care for your skin?
Your skin may become red, mildly swollen or dry, or show pinpoint needle marks. When to resume products and how to care for skin depend on the technique and energy used. Follow the aftercare advice for your treatment plan.

How much time should I allow for my appointment?
We recommend allowing approximately 1½–2 hours for your appointment, including time for topical numbing.
What counts as one area for Burst Deep?
For the THB 49,990 Burst Deep programme, both arms together count as one area. The abdomen counts as one area. Your physician assesses and defines the treatment area before the procedure.
Does the device choose depth for each person automatically?
The physician plans treatment and selects the settings. Burst then delivers at multiple levels according to those settings. Automatic sequencing does not mean the device assesses your skin in place of a physician.
Does Morpheus8 Burst need to be combined with another treatment?
Not for everyone. One approach may suit some concerns; after assessment, the physician may suggest another option or a combined plan for others.
