Prepare for treatment
Morpheus8 / RF · Laser hair removal · Forma · IPL · Vascular laserCare for your skin and protect it from the sun
Avoid anything that irritates your skin and avoid intentional tanning. Apply sunscreen when you go outdoors during the day.
Pause products that may irritate your skin
Stop products that may irritate your skin, such as retinoids or fruit acids, 2–3 days before treatment. If a product is prescribed, ask your doctor before changing how you use it.
Clean the skin and shave in advance
Shave the treatment area before your appointment day, for example the face, underarms or abdomen. On the day, clean the skin and do not apply lotion, makeup, perfume, powder or oil to the area.
Leave anaesthetic use to your doctor
Your doctor will decide whether an anaesthetic is needed and supervise its use, whether applied to the skin or injected. Do not apply or use an anaesthetic yourself before coming to the clinic unless your doctor has instructed you to do so.
Report any unusual reaction to the anaesthetic immediately
If you have an unusual reaction to the anaesthetic, tell your doctor or care team immediately so they can stop the procedure at that point.
Tell us about dental work and metal in your mouth
If treatment will be near your mouth, tell us about any crowns, dentures, braces or other metal in your mouth. These areas may be more sensitive during treatment.
Tell us how you have removed hair before laser
Laser hair removalWaxing, plucking or electrolysis within 6 weeks
Tell your care team if you have waxed, plucked with tweezers or had needle electrolysis within the 6 weeks before your laser hair removal appointment, so your doctor can assess the timing.

Tite / QuantumCare for your skin before treatment
Avoid sunbathing or intentional tanning, and apply sunscreen when outdoors during the day.
Pause products that may irritate your skin

Prepare to avoid alcohol and smoking
For the surgical procedures covered by this guidance, avoid alcohol and smoking for at least 1–2 weeks before treatment. Confirm the details with your care team before your appointment.
Get instructions about food and drink before your appointment
Before your appointment, ask your care team to confirm whether you need to avoid food or drink. If you do, ask for the latest times you may eat and drink for your appointment. Preparation depends on the use of local anaesthetic, sedative medication or general anaesthesia, so follow the plan your care team gives you.
Tell us about your herpes history
Tell your doctor if you have had herpes. If herpes recurs in the planned treatment area, you must receive preventive medication in advance under your doctor's plan before treatment can be considered. If FaceTite or AccuTite is planned around your mouth and you have a herpes history, ask your doctor to arrange a prevention plan before your appointment. Do not buy and take the medicine yourself.

Recovery after Fractional RF

Some people may need several sessions over several months to achieve their desired results. The number of sessions depends on the treatment plan.
