HA + CaHA
Volume + collagen stimulation
The HArmonyCa programme uses a hybrid injectable to add fullness to facial soft tissue. It combines hyaluronic acid (HA) and calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA). The Lidocaine formulation also contains a local anaesthetic to reduce discomfort during treatment.1,2

HA is the gel component that adds fullness to soft tissue and contributes to the change in volume seen early after treatment.8
CaHA particles help stimulate the body’s own collagen production. This gradual process is associated with skin firmness over time.8
Two roles in one injectable

HA provides volume from the time of injection. CaHA supports collagen production, with changes that develop gradually over the following months.8
CaHA supports collagen production, which develops gradually.8
HA gel starts adding volume to soft tissue from the time of injection. Changes in facial shape can therefore be apparent early after treatment.8
The first-day appearance may also include swelling. Allow it to settle before assessing facial shape. The manufacturer notes that swelling can take up to a week to subside.3
A clinical study assessed midface volume from Month 1 and found improvement compared with the pretreatment assessment.4
Collagen-related changes take time. A small study detected tissue changes consistent with new collagen formation from Day 60 and followed them through Day 180.5
Avoid strenuous activity, sun exposure, tanning lamps and extreme heat or cold for the first 24 hours. Follow the aftercare instructions provided by your practitioner.
Common reactions such as pain, swelling or itching are generally mild; swelling can take up to a week to settle.
3A study of 15 participants used photography, ultrasound and tissue-elasticity assessment. It reported tissue changes consistent with new collagen formation from Day 60 through Day 180. A separate study assessed midface volume from Month 1 and followed participants through Month 12. Month 1 and Days 60–180 are study assessment times, not a schedule for when everyone will see a change.5,4
What does the research tell us?The 2025 study followed 140 participants treated with formulations with or without lidocaine and reported improvements in midface volume that remained evident through 12 months of follow-up. It had no comparator group and was funded by the manufacturer. The findings help describe results over time, but do not demonstrate superiority over all fillers or collagen stimulators. Twelve months of follow-up does not guarantee the same duration of results for everyone.
4The choice of programme depends on the treatment area and goals, the tissue layer and when changes are expected to develop. Some treatment areas and tissue layers can overlap between the two programmes.2,9,10
Considered when the goals are early volume and later improvements in tissue firmness.
Thai manufacturer information describes the cheeks, jawline and chin. The choice of areas depends on treatment goals and facial structure.2
International instructions describe the deep dermis and subdermal regions. Thai manufacturer information refers to the subdermis.2,9
HA gel adds volume to the tissue, while CaHA particles support collagen production.8
HA provides early volume. Collagen-related changes develop gradually.
Treatment goals for volume and firmness guide the choice of areas and amount of product. Follow-up helps assess whether further treatment is needed.
Considered when the goal is gradual change in tissue fullness and quality through collagen production.
The Sculptra reference describes treatment of facial wrinkles and folds, including the cheeks and nasolabial folds.6,10
Its instructions also describe the deep dermis and subdermal regions. The area and treatment goal guide the choice of layer, with some layers overlapping those described for HArmonyCa.10
Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) stimulates collagen production to gradually improve tissue fullness and firmness.6
Changes develop as collagen builds, so progress is assessed over follow-up visits.
The product used, treatment goals and response guide the choice of areas, number of sessions and treatment intervals.
The cheeks may need more fullness, improved tissue firmness, or both. Your doctor should explain the role of the chosen product in that area and how progress will be assessed. Depth alone does not determine which programme is more suitable.
The discussion of PLLA treatment areas and tissue layers uses Sculptra as a technical example from US manufacturer information. Treatment areas, tissue layers, session numbers, result duration and aftercare must follow the Thai labelling of the actual product used.9,10

A 2025 study reported improvements in midface volume that remained evident through 12 months of follow-up in the study group. Duration varies with the treatment area, amount of product used and individual response. The follow-up period does not establish a fixed duration of results for each person.4
The amount of product depends on the treatment areas and goals. There is no single number of syringes suitable for every face. Repeat treatment should be planned after assessing the response and the condition of the tissue.
No. HArmonyCa’s Thai product information contraindicates injections around the eyes and in the lips. Other options should be assessed for those areas.1
The manufacturer recommends avoiding strenuous activity, sun exposure, tanning lamps and extreme heat or cold for the first 24 hours. Follow your treating practitioner’s specific instructions alongside the clinic’s aftercare guide, and report any adverse effects.3
The HArmonyCa programme is THB 19,990 per syringe or THB 29,990 for 1 box containing 2 syringes. Ask the clinic to confirm doctor, anaesthetic, service and follow-up fees included before payment, so you understand the full cost of the proposed plan.
